My weekend was sort of carried somewhere in a hand basket, to turn a phrase.

I went to Dollar Tree to get a few items on Saturday – which were not budgeted for.  And I went to Aldi as planned and came in WAY under budget but then busted that by getting some additional items from Shoppers and Giant. Those were special snack items and craft items for Mirror Image.I blew the clothing budget, too because even with the $10 off $10 coupon I received from JC Penney, Mirror Image suckered me into spending $6.35 on a slick pair of pants for her. (The local JC Penney is closing and they are practically giving the stuff away). The clothes shopping ban is still only applying to me, you see…

Then downhill we went.

Shortly after we arrived at church, Mirror Image grasped my arms with tears in her eyes and it was clear she was in distress. She shared that she was having horrible chest pains and off we went to Righttime (Urgent Care). I am happy to say she was feeling better later in the day after treatment and rest.

There was no Sunday spending – salon, pharmacy and fun outing were all nixed for the time being. So I was under budget for the weekend money but I am sure when I get the bill from Righttime, there will be a different accounting.

Monday will be GREAT in comparison, I am sure.
